Whats going on everyone. Its been a while since we’ve posted new music up here, and to be honest, I’m late as shit posting this. ( My bad L!, life is hectic for me right now with my preparation to go to Afghanistan ) Almost a month ago I received an email from an old friend who I know by Rob, but you know him better as LYRICISS regarding his new project. If you don’t have an idea who this kid is, he is an emcee hailing from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Do not be fooled though, this is not one of your rookie rappers just trying to be a hipster or filling time, no no my friends, this guy is a seasoned artist providing more then just a sound, but a portal to what hip-hop should sound like.
Sounds like im sycing him up dont it? Far from it, I’ve noticed this guys talent back in 2007 when the statement “DMV” wasnt known by the masses other then the fact that its the place you went to get your ID and shit (or in my case, cuss out the damn bitch behind the counter telling you that your not in selective service, when im clearing active duty army….dumb bitch). Believe THAT. Well either way syce or not, im obviously a fan, and after listening to his latest project, “The Practice” provided via DJBOOTH.NET and hosted by DJ Furious Styles is a definite win, and shows you the drive that this artist has towards his aspiration.
